Question: I am getting this
ORA-02002 and AUD: OS Error in my alert log:
AUD: OS Error = 1717 encountered while
writing audit record
Error - ORA-02002: error while
writing to audit trail
ORA-00600: internal error
code, arguments: [kzaSqlBindLob1], [22923], [], [], [], [],
[], []
How do I find fix for the AUD: OS error messages?
Answer: The oerr utility shows this on
the ORA-02002 error:
ORA-02002: Error
while writing to audit trail
Cause: The
auditing facility is unable to write to the AUDIT_TRAIL
table. If this error occurs, SQL statements that are
currently being audited may also fail. This error will occur
if the SYSTEM tablespace runs out of disk space.
The key problem here is a lack of space, either in the OS
syslog or in the Oracle database tablespaces. The
solution is to add additional space, as needed
