Question:
I need to find, from a Data Pump export (expdp) dump file, the
value of "fromuser" as it existed during the export.
I need it because I use the schema owner as an argument for
metadata_remap proc in dbms_datapump.
Answer:
(By Kamran Agayev A.) Data Pump export represents the data in
XML format, so you should be able to see everything in the export
file.
There's no fromuser parameter in Data Pump and
it's been changed to schemas parameter in Data Pump.
By defining this parameter you specify the schema owner from
which you want to export all objects.
To find out the
original schema referenced in the Data Pump export dump file, you
can use sqlfile clause of the impdp which creates set of
sql commands using dump file. From that file you can get the schema
name in the create table commands.

sqlfile parameter tips.
