Oracle Gurus slam new Oracle support sites

Several Oracle Gurus have had the opportunity to review Oracle new MOSC upgrade know as My Oracle Support Community (MOSC) and the reviews are less than stellar.

Oracle expert Jon Emmons, who has authored several Oracle books including Easy Linux Commands and Oracle Linux Shell Scripting, slammed the new "I am the Node."

"All I can say is what the hell is Oracle thinking? If you can stomach the orbiting pod long enough to navigate to the end of one of these paths you’ll be faced with a sliding wall of nausea which may somehow contain some relevant information, but with no discernible organization.

I have come up with two acceptable explanations… Someone at Oracle just finished a class on Flash and needed a project, or someone at Oracle just finished a study on motion sickness and needed a project.”

Don Burleson had the following to say regarding Oracle's new and improved support system:

"Nothing says "incompetent" more than a performance-oriented Corporation that has a slow support site!  There are reports that some MOSC users have been complaining of clumsy functionality and bad response time, and the OTN forums have a less than stellar reputation, sporadically plagued with response times up to 30 seconds."
