MOSC scheduled downtime for Sunday July 6

Oracle, is usually noted for their high-availability, but on Sunday, July 1, 2007, my MOSC log-in was giving the following Apex (HTML-DB) error:

Error ERR-7621 Could not determine workspace for application (:) on application accept.
OK
 


Expecting p_company or wwv_flow_company cookie to contain security group id of application owner.

Evidently, the MOSC error is sporadic, as some people can access MOSC:

"Just logged on and had no problem."

A search of the OAUG archives show that this MOSC error has happened before, in 2006:

Then the connection fails with the following error:

Ben Prusinski noted this downtime notice on MOSC:

MOSC Outage Planned for Weekend of July 6, 2007

A three hour MOSC outage is planned for Friday July 6, 2007 starting at 9:00 PM Pacific Time (Saturday July 7, 4:00 AM GMT) for system maintenance.

All MOSC functionality will be inaccessible during this time. We encourage you to plan accordingly and to download any patches or other information that you may need ahead of time. Although internal systems will be available, telephone hold times may be elevated as customer traffic is directed to phone support.
