STATSPACK Viewer re-named to WISE

Rampant TechPress just acquired
exclusive worldwide distribution rights for the Oracle STATSPACK Viewer
product, now re-named WISE
(Workload Interface Statistical Engine). The STATSPACK Viewer
was an
excellent way to visualize trend reports and it's been enhanced in
WISE. The original
STATSPACK Viewer
for Oracle also has popular because it its ability to spot hidden
performance trends and the WISE Viewer now works with Oracle 10g
AWR reports.
The STATSPACK Viewer for Oracle was re-named
WISE (the Workload Interface Statistics Engine)
as part of the acquisition and WISE
now supports the 10g AWR repository and has been enhanced
beyond the oudated STATSPACK Viewer capabilities. The price
has also been reduced
BEWARE of
STATSPACK Viewer sites
There have been
reports of foreign web sites selling illegitimate copies of WISE,
using the STATSPACK Viewer name. Please be advised that
STATSPACK Viewer is now officially WISE, and any web sites offering
the outdated STATSPACK Viewer are knock-offs, not to be trusted.
