Oracle's weirdest logo!

Lame Oracle humor by Don Burleson

What is the Oracle ACE logo?

Oracle needs to clarify what an Oracle ACE Director logo looks like!  I have authors who are entitled to use this logo in their publications, and as part of my job as series editor for Rampant Techpress, I?m supposed to provide this logo to the graphics department.  But it?s only 17 x 17 pixels, way too small for me to see it clearly!

The official Oracle ACE logo is so tiny that I can barely see it, even with my strongest reading glasses, and it?s not completely clear to me exactly what the Oracle ACE director logo looks like.

I imagine that it looks something like this artists composite sketch on the left.

Since it's wearing a hat, I imagine that it?s really a human spade, with the letter ?A? for a nose, wearing a regal crown.

Now why would an ace of spades be wearing a crown?

Is he the king of the spades, or what?

Oracle?s Mr. Potato Head approach to the Oracle ACE Director logo has some interesting possibilities, especially since Oracle has chosen to humanize the logo by adding a hat!

I imagine that it?s really some sort of a human spade, with the letter ?A? for a nose, capped with his crown, the ace king, the straight flush of logos!

But what should a spade king look like?

With a little more enhancement we can complete the anthropomorphism, adding some eyes, a mouth, and a nice conservative necktie.

Ah, that's better. . .

If you have any insight into this mystery, I?d like to hear from you.

Just send an e-mail to whattheheckisthissillything@rampant-books.com.
