The course covers standards that enable SOA implementations as well as the foundations of SOA-enabled applications, Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) for process orchestration.

This course will also provide instruction on basic concepts of business process integration and human workflow management using Oracle BPEL Process Manager.  Students will learn how to translate and transform data using the Oracle BPEL Process Manager adapters. Real-world instruction will be provided on how to install, configure, and administer Oracle BPEL Process Manager. Instructors will cover strategies on how to apply the Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) standard for assembling a set of discrete services into an end-to-end process flow.

This course is intended for Sales Consultants, Business Analysts, SOA Architects, J2EE Developer, and Application Developers. 

Learning Objectives:

The primary objective of this course is to learn the basic concepts of business process integration and human workflow management using the Oracle BPEL Process Manager product as well as providing a comprehensive overview of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).  Students of this course will learn how to install, configure, and administer Oracle BPEL Process Manager as well as instruction on leveraging both the organizational and technical requirements of SOA.

Students of this course will learn real-world tips and tricks to apply the Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) standard for assembling a set of discrete services into an end-to-end process flow.  Instructors will show how to rise to the challenges of SOA design and organizational decision making.  Learn how to transform and translate data using the Oracle BPEL Process Manager adapters.
