This is an

This function generates an XML
comment using the input string passed as its parameter. The
input string is converted to the form
<!--Input_string-->
which is the W3C standard for placing comments in an XML
document.

Note: The
input string passed to this function cannot
have two consecutive hyphens. If it does,
the function will fail with an appropriate
error as this disrupts the comment format.

When the input parameter is passed as
Null, the function returns Null as its resultant.

XMLCONCAT
joins multiple xml elements together; XMLFORESTworks similarly but accepts number, characters,
dates, and XMLTYPE.
