does the "inline" hint do in Oracle WITH clause operations?
Can you show an example of using the inline hint?
Answer: The inline hint is the
opposite of the materialize hint. The undocumented
"materialize" hint tells the optimizer to resolve the
subquery as a global temporary table, while the "inline"
hint tells it to process the query inline.
Here is an example of the inline hint:

*
from TA
The inline hint can often result in faster execution
plans.
