In this chapter we would be covering
the installation of Oracle Application Management Suite on
top of Oracle 12c Enterprise Manager Cloud Control. In the
previous chapter we went through the complete solutioning of
installation of Oracle 12c Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
Now, we would see how to install Oracle Application
Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite. The chapter
covers the installation of version 12.1.0.4 of the Oracle
Application Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite and
the installation remains same for all R12 versions.
The Oracle Application Management
Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite can be downloaded from
Oracle Software Cloud Delivery site (e-Delivery). Refer
chapter 2 on how to perform a search in detail. The search
criteria for download would be to select “Oracle Application
Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite” then the
platform being “Linux”. The version we would use for the
installation is 12.1.0.4. Accept the license/download
agreement and download the files. The installation file
would be around 433 MB.
The file name is
V76271-01.zip of
the downloaded file and this file will be used for
installing the Oracle Application Management Suite for
Oracle E-Business Suite. The E-Business Suite plugin will be
installed using the command line utility for Oracle
Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control known as EMCLI.
