ORA-30654 missing DEFAULT keyword tips

Question: I am getting the ORA-30654 error. How do I address this error number?

Answer: The oerr utility says this about the ORA-30654 error:

ORA-30654: missing DEFAULT keyword

Cause: DEFAULT DIRECTORY clause not specified or incorrect.

Action: Provide the DEFAULT DIRECTORY.

Obviously, the directory keyword is required (such as external table definition) to get the ORA-30654 error.
