Oracle job interview questions but many of them fail to address
the "real" questions that a job applicant is likely to
encounter.

Screening for work experience
You cannot study for experience, and with resume puffing and
fraud being rampant, you need to quickly weed out posers.

Interviewer Note:
It's not important if the non-technical manages does not know
the answer, you can tell by their demeanor if they are correct
or not.

used:

Easy: How to you open a file read-only
in vi?

Easy: How many shells do you know? If they
don't know that a shell is, they are a poser.

profiles? This is OS and shell specific. . .

Medium: How do you change every occurrence of a
string in vi?

Medium: What columns are important in vmstat?

Advanced: How can you tell if a server is paging?
Managers need to use questions
that reveal real-world experience, especially in these days
where resume fraud is an epidemic. Many Oracle job
candidates report that they need to be able to field unobtrusive
questions. For example, the Google job interview asks job
candidates to explain complex database concepts in plain
English:
"Explain a database in three
sentences to your eight-year-old nephew."
In sum, there are many Oracle job
interview questions, but we recommend using the job interview
questions that the candidate is likely to hear in a real Oracle
job interview.
