Question: Dynamic memory usage
optimization on SOLARIS lays on DISM. Oracle can use this
feature with ORADISM. I would like to know if this
kind of optimization exists on AIX 7.1 and/or Redhat 6.4 and
usable via
ORADISM ? Another way to formulate my
question is : is oradism used on AIX 7.1 and/or Redhat 6.4 ?
Answer: DISM
stands for Dynamic Intimate Shared Memory and
it is the Solaris component that allows Automatic memory
management on Linux and Solaris.
