Oracle Data Guard and perlglob

Question:
The last weeks we tried out a set-up of a Data Guard
replication, which succeeded. Now, I am trying to do the same on our production
environment, but I receive the error:
'perlglob' is not recognized as an
internal or external command".
While setting up that earlier try-out, a
colleague of mine remembers to encounter the same problem and searching the
internet, he found a solution which implied the removing of a kind of perl ini
file.
Answer:
If you install Perl yourself before Oracle, you
should remove the reference to that one from the PATH so Oracle doesn't use that
one by accident.
Also, check that the Perl files in your ORACLE_HOME
for corruption.
