Question: I need to get a count of
the number of SQL statements that are accessing a user
schema. How would I write a schema query. My
boss wants to find the total number of users hitting each
schema.
Answer: First,
remember that a user "is" a schema" owner, and Oracle
sessions submit specific SQL statements for processing.
Hence, you can use the following query to count the number
of SQL statements that have been executed against each
schema:
column
object_owner heading "Owner" format a12;
column ct heading "# of SQL
selects" format 999,999;
select
object_owner,
count(*) ct
from
v$sql_plan
where
object_owner is
not null
group by
object_owner
order by
ct desc
;
