Question:
What is the cemutlo command and how is it used with
the OEM agent?
Answer: The cemutlo command is
used by the OEM agent to query CRS name and version. The
cemutlo executables is located in $CRS_HOME/bin and
can be executed as follows with the –n option to give the
cluster name:
$CRS_HOME/bin/cemutlo
–n
Oracle Clusterware 's command "cemutlo" can
be used to determine the name defined for your cluster
during the installation:
[root]# /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/bin/cemutlo
-n
ORA_CRS_1
[root]# /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/bin/cemutlo
–n -w
ORA_CRS_11
2:1:
As we see above, this cemutlo
command with the –w argument gives clusterware version in a
format.
You can also find the RAC cluster name with the "ls –ltr"
command:
ls -ltr $ORA_CRS_HOME/cdata
