Oracle 11g SQL performance analyzer concepts

The Oracle 11g SQL performance analyzer is a revolutionary new tool to allow holistic SQL tuning with real-world workloads, rather than hit-and-miss SQL performance analysis techniques such as adding hints and tuning with guesswork. 

The 11g SQL Performance Analyzer (SPA) uses the dbms_sqltune package to analyze SQL performance using SQL tuning sets, real workloads for empirically-tested SQL performance analysis.
