Oracle Management Consultant – NDA (2003-2005)
Served as a transition Oracle
DBA manager for the Chicago Board of Trade Clearing Corporation.
managing five senior Oracle DBA staff.
Responsible for several
multi-million dollar projects that required working with the UNIX,
networking, application and disk storage groups. Implemented backup and
recovery standards, business disaster planning and resumption
strategies. Also defined complete Oracle departmental standards and
designed and implemented a system for problem tracking.
Responsible for overall Database architecture and design at United
Airlines for several mission-critical Oracle projects. Performed Oracle
optimization and created an overall front-door architectural planning
and design standard for new Oracle projects.
Senior Oracle DBA and Database Architect (1998-2003)

architect and technical lead. Responsible for initial architectural
direction of all new “front door” projects. Designed architectural
standards for the CSX database infrastructure. Responsible for
investigating, recommending and implementing all new database
