Jim Dilanni On The Future
Of Oracle Certification
There's an
interesting interview over
at CertCities.com, where
Jim Dilanni, Oracle's
Director Of Certification,
gives some background on the
program's changes over the
past year, and discusses
some of the changes we're
likely to see in the future.
Particularly interesting is
the number of certifications
at present (203000, with
growth mainly in China and
India), the effect that the
instructor-led course
requirement had on the 9i
DBA OCP, news on 10g
certification, and future
plans for performance-based
testing to eventually
replace the existing
multiple-choice exams.
