With many Oracle publishers cutting
back on titles, it's refreshing to see a publisher that is interested
in providing high-quality low-cost books to the Oracle community.
Rampant TechPress (I'm their Series
Editor) is a consortium of Oracle authors who are dedicated to
providing Oracle information at a low cost. Rampant has been
accepted by the market and is the largest growing Oracle publisher in
the world, attracting top authors such as Mike Ault, Arup Nanda,
Robert Freeman and Kim Floss.
The prices are a big issue for me
and I'm tired of laying out $70 for a doorstop that is 80% reprinted
from a book I already own.. For example, I have the Oracle Press
Wait event book and the Rampant book "Oracle Wait Event Tuning" book.

The Rampant Book was fully half the
cost of the competitor and had a online code depot full of working
scripts too. Rampant is also the only publisher to issue a book
on Oracle 10g Grid technology.

Being cheap, I always buy directly
from the shopping cart, where Rampant books are often sold for as
little as $41.95reach, Here is Rampants Fall lineup of hot
Oracle technology books:
