Oracle mails cardboard laptop computers?
According to
this article,
Andy Armstrong claims to have received an unsolicited cardboard
laptop computer from Oracle corporation on July 5th, 2007.
Armstrong notes:
"There's some coke-addled
marketing message behind it but I'm buggered if
I can work it out."
Here are two photo's of the
cardboard computer:
The caption on the top of the
cardboard laptop reads:
"We've taken the idea that the
outside world is a dangerous place for unprotected content".
It appears that this may be Oracle
marketing along the "unbreakable, can't break in" advertising
campaign.
