Back by popular
demand, Burleson Consulting is proud to announce the details for the
2010 Oracle Training Cruise. The
BC Oracle Training Cruise will be May 9-16, 2010. We will be sailing on Royal
Caribbean's "Freedom of the Seas" on an Eastern Caribbean cruise
that includes stops in the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
The course this year will focus on upgrading to Oracle 11g,
including an overview of Oracle 11g New Features. The cruise
offers a unique opportunity to learn tips and tricks in an intense,
tightly-focused environment, and this environment also allows the
option of discussing real-world performance problems with your peers
and mentors.
This is a full 7-night Cruise with an onboard Oracle DBA class, all
for less than the cost of a traditional training class. Cruise
prices are at an all-time low, and this is an unprecedented
opportunity to combine the vacation of a lifetime with world-class
Oracle DBA training. In past years, BC has had great success
with our shipboard
Oracle cruises. This is a great way to have fun and share
valuable Oracle technical information.
Unlike the generic,
off-the-shelf Oracle11g training offered by others, this course will
cover upgrading your current Oracle database to 11g as well as
focusing on Oracle11g new features with an eye on those features
that are the most critical during upgrades. This Oracle11g new
features training is special because this course is taught by
veteran Oracle Certified DBAs with years of full-time experience.
