Oracle LTOM proactive utility measures server data

Oracle has introduced LTOM as an important new proactive performance monitor tool targeted at the senior Oracle DBA. Oracle LTOM is unlike the “reactive” Oracle tuning tools that alert you only after your database has already experienced a slowdown.

LTOM is also special because it considers external server metrics such as vmstat when helping to diagnose Oracle performance problems. I've prepared a list of the important features and download instructions for Oracle LTOM here:
