Survey says Oracle Data
Warehouse is Preferred
An articles in supercomputing online says that Oracle 10g data
warehouse features remains the top-choice for shops that must manage
large volumes of data:

According to 44 percent of 290 respondents surveyed, Oracle Database
was the database of choice for production data warehouses.
The report attributes Oracle's leadership in data warehousing to:
-- Oracle's installed base in transactional systems leads it to be
favored with developers when companies are engaging BI challenges;
-- Oracle Database's ability to accommodate a wide variety of
business scenarios, including transactional, data warehousing and
operational data store; and,
-- The sharp growth of Oracle Database customers operating
multi-terabyte data warehouses over the past three years.
