Feuerstein hosts PL/SQL Conference

Steve Feuerstein, one of the worlds’ most respected Oracle experts, is hosting a two-day PL/SQL conference.  I have attended several of Steve’s PL/SQL classes and I'm an unabashed fan.  I find Steve to be brilliant, entertaining and insightful, and Steve is an outstanding teacher who shares a wealth of real-world PL/SQL tips and secrets:

“On November 2-3, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the original publication of Oracle PL/SQL Programming, the book that has helped hundreds of thousands of developers, Steven Feuerstein is hosting the first-ever Oracle PL/SQL Programming Conference (OPP 2005), an intense two-day, PL/SQL-focused event designed exclusively for Oracle technologists.”

I highly recommend this PL/SQL conference.  Feuerstein notes that he will be raffling 100 of his bestselling Oracle books at the PL/SQL conference:

“When you register for OPP 2005, you're automatically entered into a raffle to win

1 of 10 O'Reilly Oracle Bookshelves

. This "Top Ten" set of the most useful and popular books that O'Reilly Media publishes on Oracle technology includes every resource you need to support your Oracle endeavors:”

This is an unparalleled chance to learn from the master of Oracle PL/SQL, and I'm especially impressed at the reasonable conference registration fee, a fraction of the costs of other Oracle conferences.  I'm hoping to attend if my boss permits it:

  • Learn from the PL/SQL experts.

Trainings, sessions, and presentations from Steven Feuerstein (PL/SQL author and trainer), Bryn Llewellyn (PL/SQL Product Manager) and Marcel Kratochvil (winner of Oracle Magazine PL/SQL Developer the Year).

  • Attend four intensive session tracks:

    • "In-Depth PL/SQL" by Steven Feuerstein
    • "Developing Multimedia Applications for the Internet" by Marcel Kratochvil
    • "Oracle PL/SQL—The View from Redwood Shores" by Bryn Llewellyn
    • "Toad® for Oracle—Quest Software
