Only a Handful of Oracle
Certified Masters

Oracle has published a list of the
Oracle Certified Masters, and this list of only 13 names does
not include the "honorary" OCM certificate holders:
The Oracle Certified Masters is not
the same as the Oracle Masters Certificate. According to Mike
Ault, holder of five Oracle Masters, the Oracle Masters
Certificate requires no testing, only that you pay at least
$12,000.000 to Oracle University.
Oracle has published that there are
less than 100 Oracle Certified Masters in the world today, but
it appears that there are only 13 people who have invested the
money to take this test.
Getting Oracle OCM certification
requires:
1 - Spending at least $3,000.000
for advanced Oracle training at Oracle University. You cannot
obtain this knowledge from any other Oracle training company.
2 - Having a valid OCP
certification
3 - Traveling to an authorized
Oracle testing center and spending $2,000.000 to take the
practicum exam.
In sum, unless you are one of the lucky honorary OCM holders
(Jeremiah Wilton, Rich Niemiec) getting Oracle OCM certification
can easily cost $6,000.00.
