Oracle Provider Accused of Consumer Rip-Off

November 11, 2004

In this alert we see that there are concerns about three websites, all owned by the same person:
Evidently, many Oracle professionals have complained about consumer practices:
"Haskins never paid me for my services and I still have a uncollected court judgment against Ed Haskins and one is my consultants is owed thousands of dollars by Ed Haskins and"
Some Oracle professionals are also reporting problems:

"I purchased the Oracle 8i & 9i eboot camp from Oraknowledge last year with the guarantee that you could take the classes as many times as needed until you passed the all the tests. I was forced to suspend my training due to family matters. When I tried to contact Oraknowledge some months later neither my emails or phone calls were returned. I did have the President's personal email address,, so I gave him one last chance to make good on his word. He offered to send me a CD-ROM with all the classes I was taking recorded. He never did.

I encourage anyone who has been ripped off by Oraknowledge to contact the New Jersey Better Business Bureau,, and fill out an online complaint for so that no one else is ripped off by these scam artists."

"Same thing happened to me with OraKnowledge and Ed Haskins:

I signed up ( for the Oracle boot camp in Nov.2003. The camp was canceled and I was promised a refund check. Then the communication stopped. I never received any money and Ed Haskins did not return mails or calls.

In Feb. 2004 I filed a claim with the better business bureau of NJ and this week I receive a letter saying they regret they are unable to mediate an adjustment and then refer me to the Ocean County Consumer Affairs Office."
