One excellent feature of APEX is the ability
to have in-screen help pop-ups for any screen items.
Specifying help for an APEX screen item is done in the item
definition, under the label --> template drop-down Choosing
"Optional with help" or "Required with help" for the label template
will make a hyperlink on the item label, and pressing the hyperlink
will invoke a popup with help text:

Now we need to see how to add this help text.
One super feature of APEX is the ability to display all help
items for a screen at-once and update them on a single APEX
management screen. We start by going to the page definition
screen and click the "view application reports" hyperlink.
Next, we go into page components --> items -->
item help text:
Now we see all of the page items on a handy
single screen that even has a help text search facility. The
beauty of this screen is that you can add and maintain the help text
for all screen items from a single source, very handy and
