Beware: China fraud asked people to sign contract in China

I recently got an e-mail from a friend who was approached
by a "business" in China, offering a lucrative deal. These Chinese
scammers said that they would buy over a hundred thousands dollars in services,
but the victim must travel to China to sign the contract!
So, what's the scam? I did some research and
discovered that foreign scammers offer-up huge contracts, but them require the
person to travel to China to sign the contract!
Once the victim arrives in China, they are given a
convincing con game where they are greeted by an entourage, take to a fancy fake
office, all to lead them to believe that it's a real deal.
The hook is that the victim is asked to pay for expensive
meals, expensive presents for the boss, and a tariff on the transaction.
It's all a scam, so beware!
