Playing Pacific Grove Golf course
We heard that a great local bargain is the Pacific Grove
golf course, with green fees less than one –tenth of Pebble Beach!
The people at the course were exceptionally nice, and the course is well
maintained and great fun to play.

The only downside to playing Pacific Grove is the hoards of
beginners, and you almost need a helmet to protect your head from all of the
wild balls careening across the fairways.
The clientele of Pacific Grove is largely blue-collar, lending credence
its reputation as the “poor man’s Pebble Beach”.

The back nine is especially gorgeous, with native sand
dunes and a refreshing sea breeze, with some views of the waves crashing against
the jagged rocks on the shore.
