The perils of home golf
Independent Golf Tips for the professional at Leisure

We have our green in-place and Janet and I were very happy top get a chance to
practice at-home. Despite lesson from a competent PGA master pro, I still
suck at golf, although I'm dedicated to become proficient.
We build our home practice hole to avoid the embarrassment from watching people
run away when we get on the tee box.

I hit so many wild shots that the squirrels run for cover when they see me on
the fairway.
Brad Clayton designed a great launch pad, with a surrounding privacy area.
Eventually, the topiary trees (the same ones as used at Disneyland) will fill-in
the areas between the columns, giving us some privacy for our hack shots:

However, I decided that it was less effort to just go outside and launch some
balls directly from under the car port:

While it worked great most of the time, an errant ball careened off of a column
and trashed one of the glass doors:

I've now been banned from using the carport . . . . .
